Featured author

This week is book week at Parnell District School. We are reading the storybook "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. Maurice was born in 1928. He grew up in New York City in the United States of America. He loved drawing when he was young. At night he went to art school to study. Do you like drawing? When you are older perhaps you would like to be an author and illustrator of stories like Maurice Sendak.
